I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I was to find this book! I really feel it is going to change my life and help me deal with all of the PTSD/trauma and help me declutter and have a peaceful clean clutter free home again.
I am not one for rushing the process, but I am hoping that come Thanksgiving 2025 I will be hosting again! I will definitely be keeping in touch and updating my journey because I feel deeply that this book can help so many other people the way it’s starting to help me.
Thank you, and God bless!

I just finished your PTSD book and found the explanations and actionable steps very helpful.
My husband walked out in May, 6 weeks before our 21st anniversary. What??? I have been in therapy to stop the exit scene from playing over and over and over. I wasn't sleeping, and have a prescription to help with sleep until I am out the other side of the tunnel.
I have been uninspired to do much decluttering work and my office, bedroom, laundry room look like a scene from hoarders. Your book inspired me to identify what I need to do and break it into small tasks so I can move on from my current state of overwhelmed.
Thank you!

I was skeptical, but I bought it. I'm going to say, it was worth it. I didn't realize the clutter I had in my life. I have PTSD. I've tried everything.
Truth is, I was making more messes and getting further into depression. I have started to let go of past history, which means, as I come up on something, I throw it out. It doesn't change over night, but neither did this cycle. I'm not done, but I'm working as I can. I have an injury that limits me.
But I see daylight. To me it was an investment for the rest of my life. Good luck.

I am taking on the paper clutter that overwhelms my counters in my kitchen. I am getting up one hour earlier each day to sort and finish each issue and when done, I am seriously thinking about if I really need to keep the resolved issue in my filing box and I am filing it right away rather than creating another stack of paper to file 'someday'. I am encouraged as the papers on my counter are slowly but surely being dealt with!!
I've been reading Put that stuff down and it's giving me hope as I read about the program and start putting it into effect right away.
But "one step at a time" I recall Valerie saying in the book.
